I live with my wife, Karishma; our one-year-old daughter, Reshma; and our rescue dog, Baloney; in Chicago's West Town neighborhood. In addition to owning a small CPA firm, I serve as the treasurer of the West Town Special Service Area and my local neighborhood association. While my wife was pregnant, I authored and self-published Harold's Home Station, a children's book set in Chicago's historic Union Station. I received a Bachelors in Public Accounting and a Masters in Taxation from Fordham University, and a Masters in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University. I am a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois.
